I've been pleasantly surprised in the feedback I have recieved from family/friends/coworkers about my tattoo.  After nearly 3 months of no progress on the piece due to my own busy schedule, I am finally going to begin working on it again.  I hope to go down and see Marcus at A Way of Life Tattoo within the next week.  I will be sure to update with photos when I get another session done.

Speaking of photos, I have updated the site to have a new section called Ink that is fed from my picasaweb account (easy uploads from my phone update automatically to the new page).

Also I added a section for Koga in case any of you want to see pictures of our adorable Shiba Inu.

  Yet another update on my ink

  Session 9 complete.  I asked Marcus how the red was going to tie from my shoulder piece to the girl and this was the start of his vision.  He is a true artist and is doing an amazing job.  I would recommend him to anyone, Marcus @ 'A Way Of Life Tattoo' in SLC, UT.

  So here's an update on how the ink is going.

  I think this was taken after session #8 but it's hard to keep track anymore.  It has more to go to fully tie into the arm piece, then finish the girl, then add in some red. 

  This piece is from an artist I learned about last year.  I have an enormous poster of her in our living room and hope some day to be able to buy an actual reproduction painting of her.  It really speaks to me of how life flows and that beauty can be found in the strangest of places.

  I have no idea when we will be "done" but if we ever reach that stage I'll post lots of final pictures.
